This year’s festival is being held in April as it’s the month of the bicycle and Bicycle Day is on 19 April. Also, throughout the month, an initiative entitled ‘30 dies amb biciBCN’ will be promoting the use of the bicycle as a habitual means of transport.

One of the goals of this popular public celebration is to provide people with information on cycling regulations in the city, making cycling safer and guaranteeing coexistence between different types of vehicles.

The main event will be held in Pg. Lluís Companys, where there will be a fair for entities and associations and a programme of activities and workshops for all sectors of the public. Activities programmed include various children’s circuits, a space to try bicycles, cargobike races, a circuit for adapted bikes, a bike painting workshop, a mechanics contest and itinerant magic and acrobatics acts using bicycles.
