The Poblenou neighbourhood is the scene for the Barcelona’s popular falles, an event emulating the famous tradition in Valencia and organised by the Espai País Valencià.

As on previous occasions, the full cycle of the tradition can be seen in a single day: the crida (wake-up call), the plantà (positioning and display) and the cremà (the burning). The acts also include a popular paella lunch at Can Saladrigas and a supper at the Ateneu Popular Octubre.
