Spain’s food and drink industry is a global force in various sectors and Alimentaria is its most important showcase. The new edition is the largest in recent years, coinciding with Hostelco and presenting products from over 4,500 companies (27% from outside Spain) at the Gran Via trade fair facilities from 16 to 19 April.

The programme includes events such as Multiple Foods, the international meeting on mass consumption and the latest trends, Vinum Nature, promoting the eco-wine sector, and Restaurama, the food service and hospitality show.

Other notable activities at the fair include The Alimentaria Experience, with live cookery masterclasses by prestigious chefs, Innoval, a display featuring 300 innovative products, and Barcelona Cocktail Art.
