‘Barcelona capital mediterrània’

‘Barcelona capital mediterrània’ looks at the role that Mediterranean commerce played in generating the resources and social diversification which enabled the municipality of Barcelona be conceived.
This exhibition forms part of the MUHBA cycle devoted to the link between the sea and the history of Barcelona, which started in 2017 with ‘El port franc i la fàbrica de Barcelona’ and which concludes at the end of 2019 with the exhibition ‘El port modern, segles XIX-XX’, organised in collaboration with Port de Barcelona.
