The Municipal Immigration Council is organising a new edition of the festival in Pg. Lluís Companys
Showing how diversity makes the city richer, creating an interactive space between different entities and the public, and breaking down stereotypes about entities and immigrants are the aims of Barcelona Ciutat Diversa, a festival being held in Pg. Lluís Companys on 23 October.
Apart from a host of different activities for young and old, there will be activities and talks linked to the world of work and the economy, from various perspectives such as cooperatives, self-financing communities, care, the defence of rights and so on.
The fair is based around various themes, with spaces devoted to women, culture, children, youth, asylum and refuge. Activities will take place between 11 am and 7 pm.
