The MNAC is organising a round table on what it is to be a woman artist in different cultures in the world, both in the past and the present.
The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is offering a temporary exhibition on themodernista painter Lluïsa Vidal. Apart from the display, a round table session has been organised with women creators from different cultural contexts, who will be speaking about what it is to be a woman artist in different cultures in the world, both in the past and the present. Participants include Tania Adam, clothes designer and creator of the brand Safura, Namina, singer and composer, Eduard Vallès, modern and contemporary art conservator at the MNAC, and Mireia Estrada, founder of Jiwar Creació i Societat, who will be moderating.
To round the session off, Namina will be offering a short musical performance and it will be possible to visit the Lluïsa Vidal exhibition.
The round table is on Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm.
