Using the slogan ‘Seeing is Understanding’, the World Press Photo exhibition presents the photos which have received the prestigious photojournalism award.
The exhibition brings together the 155 winning photos from the event and looks to open up the debate on the value and the challenges of photojournalism.
This year’s winning photo is Hope for a New Life, by the Australian photographer Warren Richardson, showing a baby being passed through a gap in a barbed wire fence to a Syrian refugee who has managed to cross the border between Serbia and Hungary.
