‘Les 1001 nits del Guitar BCN’ is a display along one of the Barcelona metro network’s most-trodden passageways, between L3 and L5 at the Diagonal stop, and is on until the end of March.

The exhibition is a tribute to the thousand plus concerts programmed by the festival, with a selection of large photos by Xavi Mercadé, Jordi Vidal, Pablo Leoni and Lorenzo Duaso. The display documents the presence of top class guitarists guitarra (Gary Moore, Paco de Lucía, Steve Vai, Pat Metheny, Joe Satriani, Johnny Winter, Raimundo Amador etc.), as well as epic moments featuring important popular music artists such as David Byrne, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Franco Battiato and Bryan Ferry.
