The Maria Canals International Music Competition puts grand pianos in various public places, available for anyone who wants to play them. This year there will be pianos in places such as Passeig de Gràcia, Pl. Catalunya, Pedralbes Centre and the metro system.

The event also includes occasional performances by music students, locals, amateurs, competition participants and professionals.
