Oceans is the most important filmic account of the sea bed ever produced. This highly-acclaimed documentary involved seven years of work, 75 expeditions and the work of 500 people. A selection of 480 spectacular and previously unpublished images from the project now make up this exhibition at the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona – Museu Blau, on until September 2018.
The audio-visual route takes us around the oceans of the five continents, shows depths never previously visited by humans, as well as new species. The main attractions include a large curved screen which multiplies the effect of submersion, and life-sized replicas of marine animals.
