Over eighty venues in Barcelona, Badalona, Cornellà, Esplugues, l’Hospitalet, Sant Adrià, Santa Coloma and Sant Joan Despí will be open free of charge until 1 am, offering exhibitions, concerts, workshops, guided tours and lots of activities for all the family.
So clear your diaries because you’ve got a date for A Night at the Museum 2018: it’s Saturday 19 May. Over eighty museums in Barcelona and its metropolitan area will be open free of charge from 7 pm to 1 am. During the night, visitors can enjoy over 106 temporary exhibitions and permanent collections and there will be concerts, performances, workshops, guided tours and activities for all ages.
The 2018 edition of A Night at the Museum offers free admission to over eighty museums in Barcelona, Badalona, Cornellà, Esplugues, l’Hospitalet, Sant Adrià, Santa Coloma and Sant Joan Despí. This year, three new centres in Barcelona (Casa Vicens Museum (Sold-out), the Architects’ Association of Catalonia and the Espai Subirachs Arts Centre) and a new arts centre in Sant Joan Despí (Centre Jujol-Can Negre) have been added to those that took part in previous years, such as the CCCB, MACBA, Virreina Centre de la Imatge, Barcelona Design Museum, FC Barcelona Museum, the Museu Europeu d’Art Modern (MEAM), CosmoCaixa, the Born CCM, the Castell de Montjuïc, the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, the Reial Monestir de Santa Maria de Pedralbes, MNAC, the Picasso Museum, La Capella, the Biblioteca Arús, l’Arxiu Fotogràfic de Barcelona and many more completing the list of around eighty exhibition centres and venues.
