The Egyptian Museum of Barcelona is holding an open evening on Friday 19 October, from 7 pm to midnight. Admission to the museum is free and there will be guided tours and Egyptology workshops for children and adults to enjoy.
The museum, which belongs to the Fundació Arqueològica Clos, opened in 1994 and was the first Pharaonic museum in Spain. It houses a permanent collection of over 1,100 items from Ancient Egypt, including pieces relating to funerals and religious beliefs.
