This fashion show started in 2007 as an event to showcase the work of independent designers, allowing them to display their latest creations over the course of five days. The show has gone on to become a benchmark in cutting edge design and fashion on an international level.
This year some firms will be introducing a ‘see now, buy now’ feature, allowing the public to purchase designs seen on the catwalk without having to wait for the following season.
The 080 Fashion Market is also back, the space for ephemeral shops, with twenty fashion and accessory brands participating. Numerous parallel activities are also planned, including the presentation of the musical set Dorian Gray: La bellesa no té pietat, based on the work by Oscar Wilde and produced by the designer Pierre Cardin, and the opening of the H & M Flagship Barcelona in Passeig de Gràcia.
