Architecture Week 2017 is on from 20 to 26 May and sees the city become the epicentre for a wide array of activities related to the world of architecture, enabling the public to experience it in a comfortable, informative and attractive way.
Films using Barcelona’s architecture as a backdrop will be screened, there will also be temporary exhibitions in cinemas, theatres, markets and libraries, along with itineraries a series of talks. The Palau Victòria Eugènia will be opening to the public to display works nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award for contemporary EU architecture, which will be awarded on 26 May when the week concludes. There will also be a contest to come up with projects for a party wall in the city.
