A week before the Mobile World Congress starts, Mobile Week Barcelona turns the city into an open space for free activities where citizens take centre stage. From 15 to 24 February, art, science and technology will help us see how our life has changed thanks to advances in technology.
The programme includes conferences and debates with experts, exhibitions, workshops, documentary screenings and children’s activities in all city districts. One of the main activities is the exhibition ‘The Everyday Future’, where ten newly-created works of art invite visitors to reflect on the effects of the digital transformation on our everyday lives. The exhibition is on at the Disseny Hub Barcelona until 4 March.
Visits are also programmed at places such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (home to the Mare Nostrum computer) and the MediaTIC high impact technology business incubator.
All activities are free and should be registered for in advance using this website.
