The Palau de la Música presents an exhibition examining the 110 years of history since the building’s construction.
The concert hall, built between 1905 and 1908, was designed by Catalan Modernista architect Lluis Domènech i Montaner, a contemporary of Antoni Gaudí. The new exhibition is presented by the Centre for Documentation of the Orfeó Català, the choir for which the hall was originally constructed. It will trace the construction of the building and its subsequent remodelling and renovation, through a series of manuscripts, photos and newspaper reports.
The exhibition is free.
