El Raval provides the stage for L’Arnau Itinerant

A garden, an office, a terrace, a store room, a bar… These are the premises that local residents in the neighbourhood of El Raval have given over to be used by the characters in the production C/ Hospital amb St. Jeroni, the first show by the theatre project L’Arnau Itinerant.

This play by the Blanco Roto company invites us to become immersed in a theatre experience about the Barcelona which is disappearing, offering a 360-degree experience of the Raval neighbourhood.

L’Arnau Itinerant is a community art and theatre project involving local residents, entities and cultural professionals in a bid to recapture the spirit of the Teatre Arnau, the last makeshift theatre in Catalonia. The meeting place for the show is in Plaça Raquel Meller.
