The Museu Picasso is exhibiting works by Bartholomé, Carrière, Delacroix, Manet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Capiello, Degas, Cézanne, Steinlen, Gauguin and others, all coming from the permanent collection at the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée Picasso Paris.
This display in the rooms of the permanent collection is the result of the exchange of works on loan from the Museu Picasso as part of the exhibition ‘Picasso bleu et rose’ at the Musée d’Orsay, jointly organised with the Musée Picasso Paris. The display highlights Picasso’s admiration for various artists from the Paris scene at the beginning of the 20th century.
