The autumn edition of the Cruïlla offers a programme with indie music, Balkan music, gypsy music, soul, Catalan pop, punk and folk. The concerts will take place in the second half of October and early in November.
The line-up for the Cruïlla features MGMT, the kings of electro-pop and modern psychedelia; Cat Power, one the biggest folk and soul voices on the current scene, and Anna Calvi, a stalwart on the British indie rock scene.
There’s also an evening of Balkan music in store, with the maestro Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra, which concludes with a performance by the Barcelona Gypsy Balkan Orchestra and a concert by the great European soul and jazz artist, Myles Sanko.
Other acts lining up at the festival include La M.O.D.A., Mafalda, The Excitements and Viva Suecia.
