The Casa Batlló is one of Antoni Gaudí’s most unique and best-known works. Originally built in 1877, Gaudí reformed the building between 1904 and 1906. The architect completely changed the façade, redistributed the interior partition walls, made the patio bigger and turned the inside of the building into an authentic work of art.
The building offers theatricised family visits on Sundays at 5 pm. Gaudí himself or the family housemaid Sra. Ramoneta guide visitors around the house, explaining its secrets and anecdotes about its construction and the daily life of the Catalan bourgeoise early in the 20th century.
Until Sunday 26 August
