The Cruïlla was conceived to unite world music cultures. Now it its tenth edition, this musical crossroads will be combining the electro swing of Parov Stelar and the auteur music of Jorge Drexler; the Catalan pop of Els Pets and the Brazilian hip-hop of Marcelo D2, and the traditional African music of Oumou Sangaré and the indie electronic sounds of ELYELLA.
Other artists confirmed include Aurora, Black Eyed Peas, Lildami, Foals, Bastille, Zaz, Vetusta Morla, Garbage, Kylie Minogue, Years & Years, Love of Lesbian, Dorian and Michael Kiwanuka.
The festival also features the new Origen stage, designed by the artist Lluís Danés, where this year’s leading acts will perform, as well as the Cruïlla Comedy, offering a chance to laugh with leading domestic comedy artists such as Iggy Rubín, Luis Álvaro, Valeria Ros and Riot Comedy without leaving the festival.
