As part of Universal Children’s Day the Santa Maria del Pi church is hosting the fourth solidarity concert ‘Gran nit de gòspel’ in aid of the NGO Proinfants. The choir performing in the concert is the Cor Gospel Gràcia.
This well-known formation, made up of eighty people and directed by Oscar Altilde, has been going for over twenty years. During the concert they will be offering a broad selection of gospel classics, with songs such as Can’t Nobody, Old Time Religion, Sometimes I Feel and Didn’t It Rain.
Proinfants is an NGO which promotes, funds and supervises projects to help children and teenagers in communities at severe risk of exclusion or marginalisation. The entity works mainly in suburbs hit hardest by forced rural immigration and conflicts of all kinds.
